The talented actress Deepika Padukone, who delivered 3 back-to-back superhit films in 2013, is said to be in full awe of Kangana Ranaut for her performance in recent release Queen.
“I have seen Queen and I am jealous of her performance, I think she was outstanding,” Deepika said.
The 28-year-old also praised Queen Director Vikas Bahl for portraying a woman’s emotions so beautifully.
“What a beautiful film. I think if you are a woman and have been in a relationship, just the way he has captured the emotion of the girl and the way he has portrayed it, it’s one of the best films I have seen in the longest time and it’s outstanding,” Deepika added.
Queen also stars Rajkummar Rao. The film was opened for theaters on March 7 and is getting rave reviews from boht critics and audiences.
The film’s story revolves around a girl who goes for her honeymoon alone and captures her journey of self-discovery.
Her life changes unexpectedly. She is a simple middle class; conservative girl has her dreams shattered when her husband leaves her stranded at the altar.

Actress Deepika Padukone, recently visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to offer prayers on March 11, where she spent over an hour.
Deepika wore white shalwar kameez at the event. The actress prayed at the Sikh Shrine and donated Rs.1000.
Deepika was accompanied with ADCP Punjab Police, Parampal Singh.
The 28-year-old told Mr. Singh on her way out; “I don’t want to leave this place and it seems the Almighty is around me.”
The actress then headed to her hotel near the airport and later left for Mumbai. She is currently busy with her big project Happy New Year, which is directed by Farah Khan and is also starring Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Vivan Shah, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood.

The Chennai Express actress will be seen alongside the South cinema legend in Kochadaiiyaan for the first time.
Source said Deepika agreed to be part of the project for emotional reasons when Rajnikanth’s daughter Soundarya, who is directing Kochadaiiyaan, approached Deepika, she agreed without even learning about her role, script and genre of the film.
The actress felt huge honor to feature with South megastar. She felt it was a great opportunity for her to interact with the star and discuss cinema with him.
Also the team felt the performance level required for this film would be justified only by Deepika, sources said. ‘Kochadaiiyaan‘ is being touted as the country’s first motion capture technology film. The film is helmed by Soundarya, who is also making her directorial debut with this project.
Kochadaiiyaan is scheduled to hit theaters on April 11 and also features Sarathkumar and Jackie Shroff.
